Preparing a Way: Advent Through the Gospels journeys through the four weeks of the season of Advent. It's a collection of reflections on writings from the first chapter of each of the four Gospels, meant to be shared in community.  Each of the four sessions concludes with discussion questions and a suggested closing prayer.

About the Author:

The Rev. John Ruehl is an ordained PCUSA clergy person, community organizer and post modern contemplative.  He obtained his Master of Divinity through the ITC and Columbia Theological Seminary.  He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry through Drew University.  He lives in Savannah, Georgia with his wife, the Rev. Chrissy Ruehl, and their two children.
